Deepak Chopra has been an influential figure in the alternative health movement and an accomplished medical, alternative practitioner. For Instance, when he published the book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, he used the book to launch an initiative for the United States Army. The book was later turned into a television set and currently has more than one million copies in print. There’s even a movie version of the publication available on DVD.

In addition, Deepak Chopra continues to hold many credentials outside of the classroom. For instance, he’s the author of numerous medical books and is a certified chiropractic physician. In addition, Deepak Chopra is a former contestant on the reality TV show”Survivor.” In this series, he was portrayed as a contestant who struggled with a severe heart condition. Because of this, he held many discussions about improving one’s self-health through diet books, seminars, and speaking engagements.
